I've been using Amegy for about two years now & I have to say that they are quite possibly the worst bank that I've ever had to deal with. Their insufficient funds are outrageous, their on-line banking seems to be run by a bunch of people who flunked out of 8th grade math & their customer service is definitely lacking. Time & time again I have tried to have them work with me on my account & explain the problems I've been having. Do they listen? Nope. Do they cut-off your account when you're supposedly over-drawn? Of course not. The more money you think you have, the more money they get.
I'm telling you, if you wish to keep your own money, do not use these guys. They're an absolute waste of time & energy & quite frankly, I cannot afford to deal with their B.S. They're quick to penalize the customer without correcting their own faults, & even quicker to fatten up their own pocketbook-- no wonder Andrew Jackson had such an issue with banking. But hell, I'm far more likely to use Bank of America at this point than these crooks supposedly working for the people of Texas.

Ps. This will end up being cross-posted to anywhere & everywhere I can reach friends, family, & co-workers. I'd hate for anyone else to have to go through all of this trouble.
